But why me?
My journey into acupuncture began through a deeply personal search for relief from migraines, which I had suffered with since childhood. For years, migraines affected every part of my life — my energy, my work, my plans, and my sense of wellbeing. Discovering acupuncture was genuinely life-changing. Not only did my migraines become far less frequent and intense, but I also experienced a profound improvement in my overall health. I was completely converted by the power of this medicine and knew I wanted to help others in the same way it had helped me.
This passion led me to train as an acupuncturist, and I now hold a First Class Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic Ac) from the City College of London, an institution renowned for its high standards of teaching and clinical excellence. My training is grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine and supported by extensive hands-on clinical experience, allowing me to treat a wide range of conditions with confidence and care.
I am a fully qualified and fully insured member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). This means I adhere to their strict Codes of Safe Practice and Professional Conduct and commit to ongoing Continued Professional Development, ensuring my practice remains safe, ethical, and up to date.

My approach
I take a holistic and highly personalised approach to every treatment. Having experienced firsthand how complex and individual conditions like migraines can be, I understand that no two people are the same. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I take time to understand the whole person and the root cause of imbalance, supporting long-term healing rather than short-term relief.
Treatments start with a 20 minute consultation, followed by the bodywork your system requires. I may start with acupressure massage and then use a variety of mediums from cupping to electro-acupuncture, moxibustion or Gua Sha in addition to the needles.
At the end of the session we will discuss lifestyle and dietary advice (Yang Sheng) to benefit your longterm health. True healing extends far beyond the treatment room. While acupuncture is a powerful tool, long-term health depends on how we live, rest, eat, move, and respond to the world around us. This is where Yang Sheng (養生) — often translated as “nourishing life” — becomes essential.
